Exelixis 1701 Harbor Bay

Project Summary

Exelixis is working hard towards its long-term vision and continues to grow its new Alameda Headquarters. Recently acquired by Exelixis, Building 1701 is being renovated to house high-density lab and office space utilizing the Design-Build project delivery method. Building 1701 is approximately 60,000 gross square feet combining the two floors. The core of the building was demolished down to the main building structure to repurpose and mold the existing space to Exelixis’ needs. This tenant improvement consists of all new mechanical systems and electrical distribution. Exelixis’ employees are using the previously completed Buildings 1801 & 1851, which were successfully renovated by Rosendin in 2018, to continue their critical work without interruption. The renovation of Building 1701 is expected to be completed in June 2021.
