YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Contract Administrator manages non-technical aspects of the projects to which they are assigned. He/she will also provide guidance and assistance and will collaborate with Project participants on the development and fulfillment of contract requirements, evaluate contract compliance and advise others on contractual rights and obligations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Document and support the negotiation of any changes or amendments that may arise during Project execution. (bullet #1)

  • Understand, interpret, and transmit relevant contract information, processes and procedures and notifications to all key project participants, and assist the project participants in understanding, following, and adhering to the scope of work in compliance with their responsibilities under the Contract’s terms and conditions. (bullet #2)

  • Review all contract documents to minimize conflicts and ambiguities and ensure the key requirements are readily available to and understood by the project participants. (bullet #8)

  • Collaborate with other Company operations leads on the project (and legal leads at the Company) to implement effective change management best practices. (bullet #3)

  • Support project participants by assisting with contractual management issues. (bullet #4)

  • Oversee non-technical aspects of ongoing contracts, including compliance with contract documents and statutory requirements (including Inflation Reduction Act requirements, as noted below) to ensure that the requirements of the contracts are implemented and maintained. (bullet #5)

  • Review contract performance by monitoring and generating compliance documents, schedules, notices, and deliverables. (bullet #6)

  • Collaborate with purchasing and subcontracts management to ensure contract terms and obligations included in agreements with subcontractors and vendors to avoid stranded risk. (bullet #7)

  • Assist project participants in preparation of correspondence and maintenance of records necessary to ensure effective administration of contract requirements. (bullet #9)

  • Participation in the development of affirmative claims, and defense of claims, in coordination with legal department (bullet #10)

  • Prepare change order and claim logs, in coordination with other project participants. (bullet #12)

  • Monitor schedule for submission of deliverables and other contractual notices and certifications. (bullet #13)

  • Prepare and distribute monthly contract reports, as requested. (bullet #14)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in contracts review and administration or contracts management. Having Construction or Operations experience is required.  Knowledge of construction industry practices and legal standards is recommended.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.

TRAVEL:

  • Up to 25%

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

Pay Range

$82,000.00-$107,600.00 Annual

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
